i love thanksgiving, especially the feast! the night before thanksgiving, however, i watched a program on the history channel about the production of thanksgiving turkeys at the butterball factory. i haven't really thought about vegetarianism for a while now, and i also haven't ever liked turkey. but after seeing the process i chose not to eat the poor bird, not completely because of how the turkey was treated while it was alive but because i don't think it's a sanitary place, just doesn't sit well with me is all. i liked the mashed potatoes tho!
